• The Islay Fine Food Company offers a fine selection of products including smoked beef with malt whisky, venison and lamb. The family run farm has been producing naturally reared beef and lamb for two decades and has established itself as one of the finest farms on the West coast of Scotland.
• An excellent source of information about Islay is the website for the local newspaper, The Ileach, which is regularly updated and includes a useful diary of forthcoming events.
• The Islay Directory features extensive lists for shopping, information and services on Islay.
• The eponomously named www.isle-of-islay.com website contains a good selection of links to resources about Islay.
• The Islay.com website contains lots of information and good links to other websites, though some of it appears to be written exclusively in German.
• Jeremy Hastings runs birdwatching tours on Islay, and his website features an exhaustive list of birds that can be found there, along with the latest birding news.
• Malcolm Ogilvy has put together a birdwatching website, complete with a guide to birdwatching on Islay.
